"We stayed in this lovely barn to have a very belated Christmas with friends who live nearby. The barn is very comfortable, warm and cozy.However the kitchen does not do the rest of the property justice. It is dated with a worn cooker and a tiny built-in fridge that is in poor condition. One tea bag and no sugar, not promised but after a long drive it was lucky we had our own. Biscuits and croissants were left though and were lovely.The grounds are run down and we saw no play equipment - however...

"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter."

"We really enjoyed our stay. Florence Cottage is very well equipped and has clearly had a lot of money spent on it. The kitchen is beautiful, bathroom very modern and all the furniture is of good quality (very comfortable beds and sofa etc.). Andy sent us a detailed email prior to check-in with all the relevant instructions...
