"The property is beautifully designed. It is compact but well planned out and very tasteful. Everything you need is there. The breakfast basket is delightful! The cottage is attractive and in a lovely location. It is so easy to just walk across the road for dinner. We loved it!!"

"House was lovely and clean - all towels essentials included. Was able to check in earlier than planned so added bonus, Timo on hand if any problems. Feel like the house could be modernised in some areas, modern bathrooms but some bedrooms dated and uncomfortable beds. "

"We stayed at the cottage for 3 nights in March. Lovely and modern inside with lots of kitchen gadgets and basics. Living room was comfortable. We only used the main bedroom and the bed was comfortable for us. Good wardrobe size and plenty of hangers. For anyone worried about parking we found on street parking easily, so don't let this put you off. Helpful guest book with restaurants, local shop and other useful information. I liked the page about the history of the cottage. We intend to return...

"Great location and hut as described. Cozy and great little enclosed garden which is safe for a dog, mine loved it. Stayed for four nights and loved it. Great hut, really well thought out. Looks out on open countryside with sheep and lambs in fields next door, only sounds were birds singing and sheep bleating. Only downside was postcode doesn’t take you to property, but asked someone and is only a few minutes away. Only one wine glass available, luckily only me staying and I always take a flute...

"Great shepherd hut in quiet location right next to the New Forest. It has everything you need and very stylish. Lovely and warm when the heating was on. Big car park and nice garden to look out to. We loved it and would stay again."

"This is the second time we stayed here but in a different shepherds hut. Shepherds Retreat is nice and spacious and has everything you need. New forest on your doorstep and owners nice and friendly. "The staff was awesome! We arrived late and did self check in it was simple. We left our luggage there the next morning because we had 6:30 am tickets for Stonehenge and they took care of it. The hotel is across the street from the train station and walking distance to all of Salisbury. We would stay there again. "
