"This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The last time was about 2 years ago. The owners added a better summer heating & cooling unit. Normally you would think we would have needed the air conditioning, but needed the heat instead. Really enjoyed our stay and will come here again."

"Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay here. The kids loved sitting around the bonfire and making s’mores. Our puppy loved running around inside the fenced area and joining us on our family trip. The location of this home was convenient for visiting Itasca State Park. The only thing we found disappointing was that the dock was already pulled in. Our boys were looking forward to being able to fish off the dock. The owners were very communicative and shared with us a location near by for fishing....

"Comfortable and picturesque - especially the little dock on the creek. Abundant wildlife. Kind of cold when we were there. Having a boat and kayaks to tour the lake was a bonus. "

"We were in town for a family reunion on Fish Hook Lake, so the location was great! HWY 71 was a little loud in the evening as we were trying to get to bed with the windows open, but we managed. The owner had a great communication and was accommodating to our schedule. Very clean and everything we needed was there!"

"The cabin itself while small is really nice. It wasn't really warm while we were there, the AC worked well. The lot is a nice lot with good flat ground by the lake and the shore is sand. We didn't use the washing machine, but the dryer was nice to have for wet clothes. The issues I had with the place is that while it is sand bottom it was very weedy. The neighbors either pull weeds or have a weed roller. The owners didn't do any of that. So if you are planning on swimming at the cabin...

"Fantastic alternative to hotel. Our teens all had their own beds and tv room, bathroom and shower. Here for a family weekend wedding. Could get away and relax. Cards on the porch and nice neighborhood to go for a walk."

"We had 13 friends stay at the Get Around Get Away for our yearly get together, and it by far exceeded our expectations! This house has it all! Comfy beds, hot tub, giant smart TVs in every room, gorgeous patio, modern furniture and appliances, beautiful scenery, lots of room indoors and out, and a great host. Thank you Maggie for our stay! We would love to come back again another time!"
