"I have to say, out of all of the properties we have ever stayed in, this ranks among the very top. Such a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. The owners have literally thought of everything. We were greeted by a very clean property, snacks in the kitchen and a view off of the back that was breathtaking! We are already planning our next trip to Maine and this property is an absolute must. Thank you to our host for such a wonderful stay!"

"We could not have picked a more lovely chalet for a family visit to the Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park area. "Wow-factor" water views with a nice back yard and coveted beach access allowing for strolls at low-tide. The property is private, quiet and scenic- a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of nearby Bar Harbor where parking can be challenging due to crowds. Very close access to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, food, mini-golf and other nearby harbors for fishing, sight-seeing, etc. I...

"Listing says it’s walkable, but it’s probably a good 20 minute walk and it’s not ideal with kids because of traffic once you get into Acadia. It is a short drive to Jordan pond house though. Our mattress was from 2007 and we did not sleep good at all because of it. Not enough seats for 4 to relax in living room after a long day of hiking either. Very responsive host so that was a positive."

"Lovely stay on a quiet street on the south side of Mount Desert island with a short, easy bike ride to Jordan Pond and the Carriage Roads. Stay here, and you can be opposite in rythym to the Bar Harbor crowds starting their day on the opposite side of the park. Option to catch the free, convenient park shuttle at Jordan Pond to get around."
