One minor drawback that I encountered during my visit in the winter was that the temperature of the indoor pool was not as warm as I would have preferred. While the pool area is undoubtedly lovely, it would have been more enjoyable with a higher water temperature, especially during the colder months. Overall, Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco is a fantastic choice for those looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Tuscany and indulge in a luxurious hotel experience. "Where to begin? For starters this property is even more beautiful in person than in the incredible photos shown here. It is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. Many people had left helpful cooking ingredients. The location is perfect. We were right across the street from a multi-generational, family owned & operated pastry/coffee shop. The women who run it are lovely, and the food/coffee was so yummy we went there every day of our weeklong stay. We easily walked to delicious restaurants, a park with an incredible view, the Piazza Grande, and tons of great shops! (If you are shopping for leather goods, La Bottega del Cuoio should not be missed!) We cannot say enough good things about Stefano, the guest house’s host. Not only did he drive us to and from the train station, but he also took us grocery shopping. Stefano is kind, fun and very helpful. He even offers very reasonably priced guided day trips and can teach you how to cook as an Italian. He is a host with many talents! We highly recommend Stefano’s beautiful guest house! So much so, we will come back and rent it again!"

"The Villa di Piazzano is stunning down to the smallest detail. The staff is attentive, pleasant and helpful. The food and wine at the onsite restaurant was some of the best we had on our 23-day trip across Italy. One of our favorite stays for sure!"
