"The cabin was beautiful. When we arrived, check in was smooth and easy. I was surprised as I had thought the cabin I had booked had 3 beds so I must have been the one mistaken but regardless we made it work and it was fine as it was a fast trip, not a long stay. Otherwise, it was easy, comfortable, quiet, like being at home but quieter. LOL. Wish I had more time to spend there (and the $ to do it LOL)"

"I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is a beautiful cabin. The location is across the street from the New River, not actually on the river itself. But it is an easy walk across the street and it is a good section for toddlers and older to get in. The location is about 25 minutes from Boone. There are three bedrooms plus a non-enclosed room with a daybed. Plenty of space. The cabin is not soundproof so you will hear everyone’s conversation (and snoring, lol). "Beautiful secluded location. The owner was very flexible with us regarding a revised schedule which was very much appreciated. The loft was a bit difficult because of the very low ceilings, but it was manageable as a place to store suitcases. Overall everything was great. The only (minor) complaint is that silverware was lacking in terms of spoons. We would definitely consider staying there again."

"This is such a darling cabin! Super easy to check in and homemade jam upon arrival. Owners checked in while we were there and shared about the family property. The mountain was air was cool and crisp despite 95 degree heat in the Triangle. The cabin feels entirely private and the porch is fantastic for relaxing and listening to the brook. Would definitely go back for a relaxing, quiet weekend!"

"This was a perfect cabin getaway! Close proximity to some amazing hikes, extremely clean, and had everything we would ever need. Jon was also very quick to respond when I had a quick question. "Property as described. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Hot tub ++++. Property owners were nearby, but never bothered us. Fast response from owners when messaged. They even offered to grab us dinner one night from town. The driveway up was an experience the first time up it. Mattress was a little soft per our liking, but you cannot please everyone with that. We had a wonderful time."

The property was just as listed, clean, had mostly everything we needed and in a nice neighborhood, not far from lots of fun places. We went to Mystery Hill and Tweetsie RR. "This property didn't have many reviews, so it was a bit of a roll of the dice, but wow, is it nice! You are not "in" the mountains, but on TOP of one, so the views are stunning. We enjoyed the hot tub and the excellent kitchen. We felt the mattresses were overly firm, but that's just a preference thing I guess. I think they recommend 4x4 year round for this place in the listing, which I agree with. It is a real climb, but well worth it. We would 100% stay here again and would also recommend it...
