Make sure to gas up before you get there as there are no close by gas stations, but that's a small price to pay for the location, view and serenity of the property. "

"Great spot in the woods! We enjoyed our time in this home. We went up with teenagers for a college tour and we had plenty of room to stretch out. We also enjoyed the hot tub after walking around Boone for the day. We cooked dinner every night and had everything we needed. Would love to come back in the summer when we can sit out on the deck for morning coffee. 10 out of 10 recommend."

"Stayed during weekend trip. House was very nice. A bit further from Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk than we expected, but still only about 15 minutes from Boone. Nowhere closer to grab groceries that we saw. House could use a good "spring cleaning" and some maintenance but overall very nice. For coffee drinkers - the pictures show a standard drip coffee maker but it did have a Keurig combo drip & pod coffee maker when we stayed - bring coffee filters. "Love the seclusion and quietness of the property, beautiful views. I had a few problems with some dirty pots that were left. We had to clean before using. The place was also freezing cold and we were not able to adjust the temperature limited cell service up here so we’re not able to contact the property owners other than those few glitches it was a beautiful stay"
