"I'll cut to the chase with this one. If you're expecting all the frills, you won't get them. HOWEVER... Its an absolute bargain and certainly ideal for a short break. The hotel itself may be in need of some work (and it looks like some of that work has started), but ultimately, its clean, comfortable, ideally located given its very close proximity to the railway station etc, and even the noise issues that people had raised in other reviews wasnt an issue. You might get a bit of background noise but its not offputting and what do you expect? Its in the town centre next to a railway station and a ferry port. I still managed a good nights sleep. Check in was also very straightforward and easy too. Definitely recommended for anyone who needs a place to get a good nights kip for the next days adventures. 👍"

"We had dinner and drinks in the lounge area after arrival servbcie and staff were great. Breakfast in the atrium the next morning was a delight. Lots of Gluten free options."

"I had a great stay at Beaufort Hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the food in the restaurant was great, and the bed and bedding was so comfortable I checked the make of the mattress! There is lots of free parking, and it's a 5 minute walk into town. Highly recommend staying here!"
