"The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge. "We had a lovely stay at this property in Arran. The house was perfect for our needs and within walking distance of the shops and eateries of Lamlash. The house had everything we needed and we didnt lack anything. Parking in front of the house was fine but care is needed when driving out into the main road due to poor visibility. Beds were comfy. Water was very hot. Conservatory and back garden were very relaxing. All in all a great place to stay."
