"Impressive old mansion on a hill overlooking Vienna. Incredible city views at night and we were treated to a spectacular sunrise over the city in the morning too. The building itself has a checkered history, some of which was disturbing to read about, but the hotel has done a great job of utilising it for a memorable guest experience. "The hotel is out of the centre but close to the D tram which cross connects with other routes to go just about anywhere you might want to go. We enjoyed our initial stay and when our flight home was cancelled we were quite happy to stay on a day longer. "I highly suggest this place when travelling to Vienna. The tram (43) is 5 minutes away from the accommodation and takes you right to the city. The train that we took from Vienna Airport is just next to the tram. We even travelled to Hallstatt from here, which was a simple journey. I am from London, so I approached the train/tram map as the underground and then found it easier to manoeuvre. The flat is large, beautiful, and clean. Shops like Lidl and Adli are nearby, and a drugstore like Boots...

"Stay was decent. They don’t tell you that you have to pay for laundry which isn’t something you want to do when you’re already paying a few hundred a night for the stay. They also don’t tell you that the property is located directly above a train line that runs throughout the day and night. You can feel the vibrations which isn’t ideal, especially since one night the train ran until midnight. The location is okay. "
