"Home was in perfect location for intermediate skiers. Ski in right behind house. Parking was terrible. The house shares parking lot with neighbors and they had 5 vehicles parked there over the weekend in a lot that will hold 3. They did leave us one spot. We found parking areas along the street. We had no firewood for the fireplace, couldn't find any trash bags or dish washer detergent so we used our own and washed dishes by hand. Would be helpful if there were directions to operate the heating...

"We stayed with another family, 8 people total. The layout of the house was perfect and very accommodating for 4 teenagers. The house was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Holly was very kind and quick to respond to my messages. The only thing that was a little confusing, was the place was advertised as “ski in/ski out”. We did not ever see where that was possible? "The place was beautiful however a few issues arouse that weren't previously known until rental agreement with no refund possible. Jets in jacuzzi tub were broken, gas grill filthy, gas fire place regulator was broken, so only worked if you held knob down. Ash bucket from fireplace was full from previous rentals. Beautiful place that needs better upkeep. However these small complaints I would recommend!"

"We had a great two day stay at the cabin with our family and friends! The property was clean, had ample sleeping space and in a great location-5 min drive to Wintergreen Resort. The host was responsive when we had questions during the stay and even beforehand. Would recommend for those with families! "

"Quiet neighborhood with a heavenly view. It snowed while we were there, and the area roads management was impressive.Property is reasonably well-appointed. Perhaps geared more toward an adult party venue, we did find family-oriented supplies limited. Bring your own games, books. I would not recommend this property for families with young children for obvious reasons. The price of the view is a higher risk of slip/falls on the back incline, especially in snow.This rental is a special blessing...

"The home is very secluded and has a magnificent view! The interior is gorgeous and perfect for a couple. The home faces west so the sunsets over the mountains and the James River are spectacular! There isn't a lot nearby in terms of grocery stores or restaurants. You'll have to travel 20 mins or so (as far as we could tell) to get to anything like that so bring your groceries. "The cabin is exactly as pictured- it is beautiful, spacious yet cozy, and very clean. The host was attentive and pleasant. Three generations were in the house and all were very pleased. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"The communication was excellent before and during the stay - they checked in and followed up with us. The property had everything we needed for a great weekend. A quick 2 minute drive to the Wintergreen restaurants and small store. "

"We live locally but had friends and family coming to town for my birthday so we rented Riley’s retreat. Our weekend was filled with visits to all the food and beverages on 151. I loved the fun amenities at the house ( hot tub, pool table, games, etc). My initial investigation I didn’t realize we we so far up Wintergreen but in the end it did not matter and was a perfect house for the weekend ! Thank you !!"

"The pictures online did not do this tiny home justice. It was perfect. There were 3 of us in our group and it was plenty of space for us. We were already talking about staying here again after the first day. Everything was super clean. The kitchen had everything you need (even spices) except for an oven but we did not need to use an oven on this trip.
