"Officially the quietest hotel we've ever stayed in - once in our rooms we literally heard nothing from outside it. The room was nice, clean etc. We were there for 4 days and no one came to clean which was unexpected but equally not really an issue. Staff were all friendly. Location was ok for us as we like walking but it is quite a distance from anywhere. No restaurants nearby, we got caught out one evening when we returned back late from watching the Ice Hockey and couldn't find anywhere to get...

"Only once did we see an employee sitting behind the front desk. No one was around when we needed them. If you need to check out of a hotel elsewhere in the city and then move over to Smartments, your luggage might just have to sit unattended in the lobby if you can’t reach anyone on the phone. I won’t stay here again due to the limited hours of expected front desk availability, let alone the actual nearly non-existent availability of hotel staff. "

"We stayed in a private twin room, it was spacious, clean and had a nice view of the market square, we had no complaints! The hostel overall had a great atmosphere and provided lots of information about what to do around the city, and staff were very helpful. "
