"Was a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a nice location, I do like the kings inn hotels but admittedly the bathroom wasn’t very clean nor modern and it did smell a little, but it was still good for the price we paid to stay there. The bed was comfortable and we had a sleep without any disturbances. Also breakfast was nice, and the bar maids were very nice and it was very calm and chilled to sit and have a drink in the evening. "

"The hotel was in a good position for Ripon’s attractions ie the cathedral and the old town with its cafes and eating facilities. The rooms were fresh looking and away from the pub in a separate stable block and were self contained but as the property had just been taken over and the pub itself was being refurbished I can’t comment on the food etc ."

The ambience & the decor is beautiful but it was the service we received by all of the staff and the food which was the highlight of our trip. "This hotel is very conveniently located right next to York Barbican. I had an event there so this hotel was a great choice. The staff were prompt and friendly, and explained everything well. The property is very secure with the gate locked and a code required to unlock and access the building. I felt very safe! Everyone staying at the hotel was considerate and quiet. I tried to keep as quiet as possible when returning, as my event didn’t end until 1am. I love that the property is also a pub,...
