"What a lovely spa/hotel and surrounding countryside! The staff is kind and accommodating. And the pools are wonderful. My wife and I started off at Hotel Rosa apartments and opted to transfer to Hotel Sotelia with the adult pool complex. It was a good choice. "Hotel is only a short walk from the city-centre with easy parking. We had booked a larger room with a kitchenette and fridge, but were given one without these amenities. The TV only showed one channel. After establishing that the printed instruction inside the room - did not work - we even asked the reception for help with it. Oddly, we had to ask for the remote control to the AC specifically and even had to sign for it? Breakfast room was nice and tidy, but normally considered warm food...

"The excellent: the location, luxury, feel, staff. The only downside for one star off, is no air conditioning. Even in May, one evening it was fairly warm, and we would have appreciated AC. The hotel is very fancy, which is not necessarily our cup of tea--ie, dinner is pre fixe. This is in contrast to the only other hotel down the only street, which is very informal. "This hotel is a classic old spa hotel. The grand entrance on the park side is largely closed off, with a new glass atrium entry on the back alley. But it's worth peaking into the old grand foyer and even the music hall on the top floor. The rooms are fine, although our room for three was just a queen bed so our daughter slept in the loveseat.
