InterContinental hotel is in a great location. Hotel is modern, great room and bed. Shout out to Timothej, the hotel concierge, he is passionate on his job, great recommendations on all the places to visit in Slovenia. Make great arrangements for our rental car and reservations for our special occasions. Kudos to Timothej. Highly recommend on this property in Slovenia and come by to say hello to Timethej. The reception staff is sub par, I asked Stefan at the front desk to put in my IHG number to my reservation and he was annoyed, not knowing I understood slovenian he complained to his colleague about me. At check out they forgot to book my taxi and was late to the airport.

Hotel is large modern high-rise. We had a very large and comfortable room on 12'th floor on corner with good views. Turning on/off lighting very confusing. Likewise how to flush toilet - fully automatic, and sometimes needs to be persuaded. Dinner in hotel dining room - food very good. Valet parking. 10 min walk to center of town. Breakfast was good, dining staff good. Front staff also good. Dining room on 20'th (top) floor. Recommended.

From the moment we arrived at the property, welcomed by Tia at reception with a full itinerary for the following five days created within the first 30 minutes, to the excellent bellboy service and the lovely discussion with Maja, guest relations manager, everything was slick and well thought through. Personally, we didn’t like the pillows but they are very hard to get right. That is nothing against the hotel, that is purely personal preference.
