"Checked in a little earlier and the lady at the desk was extremely helpful and flexible. Breakfast ends at around noon and check out time can be extended if needed. Breakfast was amazing and extra points for them being so flexible. The room was clean, comfortable and big! Would come back again."

"We stayed in Berta room for 5 nights, which is on the ground floor and right next to the guest area. We could hear when other guests either came in late or left early. Besides that, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is good and the staff are super friendly, Ksenija is a great host! The location is perfect!"

"We were a team of fishermen staying at Vila Istenic. The owner, Barbara, do run a very clean and nice small hotel. She went out of her way to accomodate every request. Rooms are very spacious and the breakfast is very nice and fresh. They did open up early upon request, to make time for us to get to the fishing waters early. And all the different sparkling wines produced are very good!"

This is truly a place to relax and enjoy in the small town of Kostanjevica na Krki. We had a wonderful stay! A gem in southeastern Slovenia--both Vila Castanea and the town."

"Si vous recherchez un endroit au calme, au milieu de la nature, vous avez trouvé le bon endroit. Nous étions trois personnes logées dans un beau chalet, très bien équipé. Pièce à vivre, cuisine, toilettes au rez de chaussé et le couchage à l'étage (attention pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, l'escalier est très pentu) La vue sur le panorama environnant est superbe. "I stayed at this hotel in March 2025. Perfect location, close to everything. The old town is 5 minutes to walk. There are many shops in that area. Good public transportation. Staffs were very helpful and accommodating. My room was clean and functional and good value for the money. They offer a good breakfast! "

"I was really happy with the comfortable bed, kettle and complimentary coffee and tea, storage space for luggage and clothes, even a steamer for clothes in the room, the stable WiFi, great selection at breakfast, the restaurant, the hotel’s location close to shops and the old city; the design of the shower room was not very practical / not what I would have preferred, but it was still alright. "
