"Took wife, daughter and her friend. It was a long way from the nearest autoroute but a lovely drive through France. It took about 7 hours from Caen (will fly to Bergerac next time) The farmhouse was beautiful, clean and spacious. Comfy beds, well-catered kitchen, good WiFi. Nearby (1k walk) Monpazier had everything we needed, 2 x Boulangerie, v important, lots of bars, especially the Bier de la Bastide. "We loved this property. Probably one of the best we’ve stayed at. Supermarkets were a 15 min drive, as was the nearest (open!) boulangerie in Castillionnes. The house had everything we needed. Beautifully clean and comfortable. Fans in the main house bedrooms for warm nights and my parents had A/C in the pigeonnair. The pool was fabulous, much needed in the summer sun. A few lovely walks around and about too. Lovely outdoor eating area and lovely furniture and umbrellas. Plenty of outdoor...

"Stayed for 5 days with our children 12 and 15. House and pool beautiful, immaculate. So peaceful. Everything you need. The only thing I would say is that we didn’t realise from the listing that two of the three bedrooms are outside of the main house on another level down some outside steps, although still attached to the house. This could affect a family if their children were much you her than ours. Great stay and would definitely return."

"We loved staying on the farm. The house was large and spotless, hosts incredibly helpful. Our 3 and 5 year olds boys loved it too! The only thing to note for other guests (that is very usual in France) is that you need to bring your own bedding, this isn’t explicitly called out on the listing. Would definitely stay again! "

"We had a fantastic stay in this lovely, rustic property. Great for families with the pool and spacious grounds. Praysaac is also a very pretty, vibrant little town. There is also so much to do in the surrounding area. Cahors is only a 30 minute drive and there are plenty of villages, towns and chateau nearby. Everything you could wish for. We were sad to leave."
