"It was a brilliant stay the only criticism as I am a large person it it would benefit them to remove the glass shower screen as this makes using the toilet difficult. (Fyi the shower and toilet are a wet room so this is possible)"

"My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights during our first trip to London. It was an excellent place to stay. The convenience of the location to Paddington station was priceless and made getting around London and getting back to our hotel so easy. The front desk staff was always kind and helpful and even helped me make a phone call one morning when I was having an issue with my Oyster card. "As a millennium member I chose the hotel for its convenience to shops restaurants and travel options. Especially to access from M4. It’s a busy hotel with people coming to register throughout the day. It sometimes gets congested with the volume of residents especially at breakfast time. Nevertheless it is a viable option due to its proximity to all the above options."

"Went with my wife for for three year anniversary. Really good service and very clean hotel. My only problem was the bed was very firm and the pillows very soft which wasn’t good for my vertigo. "

"We arrived to a very warm welcome, beautiful building reception and main rooms. Reception stored our luggage so we could go out for the day. Returned to check in and we were a little disappointed with our room but it was only a night. If a longer stay we would have asked for a change. Room was small and needed updating. No curtain on the dirty window so light shined through all night. Tiny shower room, water went everywhere after showering. A real shame as staff were wonderful, breakfast great....

"Good location, great staff and breakfast was good. I found the room spacy and that was perfect for my stay. Otherwise I found it a bit dusty in some areas, the floor wasn't 100% ok in my opinion. And regarding the kitchen part, I'd say that some kitchen utensils weren't fully clean, same for the oven grill. So it was disturbing, considering I visted other flat/hotel complexes in London, and this one being a Mariott. I did not request cleaning services during my stay, but I assume those points...

"This property is gorgeous and the room and bathroom were updated and clean. David at the front desk was very professional and hospitable and helped with my baggage. The bar area was fun and they made great drinks. This is located right by the metro so made it easy to get around town. I’ll definitely be back! "

Great stay

"Check in staff and front desk were lovely! I booked online as I arrived as the walk in rate was £12 more and she was patient. Room service was very quick and food was good. Pool is great and takes less than 10 mins to get to legoland. The legoland hotel was fully booked but this is a great alternative. Room was massive and overall very happy and half the price "

It is what it is.

"Reasonable for Reading, while basic in decor it is what you can expect for the price, the staff are all really friendly and helpful to a fault. Always stay here as it represents value in my opinion, great parking and easy access to the town. 20 mins to the centre."

"The first property we had was clean but had some drainage issues, we spoke to staff that were helpful and friendly and they promptly moved us to another lodge. All the area is very clean and tidy, i love the mini play areas in each section and all the lego models around the walking areas. The lodges are lovely inside "

"It’s a beautiful hotel. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. It’s a perfect location for Windsor town centre and for going across the river to Eton. The Brasserie served a lovely breakfast and you can have a riverside view too. The staff were very helpful and did everything you’d want them to. Will definitely stay again. "
