"The home was perfect for our family vacation! It is well appointed for casual times, making meals, and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the main sunken living room with two comfortable sitting areas, and the kitchen with plenty of dishes, etc. for meals. The home is in a friendly neighborhood and is close to shopping and restaurants. Also, we appreciated the property manager, who was quick to respond to questions and help with a small issue we had. So glad we stayed at this home!"

"Internet service at the property was very poor. Could not get the property address to come up on GPS. Need a better method to get to address so people can locate/find it. The commodes on the main level are too low and need better flushing mechanism. Push button is okay, but you have to hold it forever it seems before it would flush. Other than these issues the stay was great!"

"We came down for dance convention. The house was good, but we had some concerns with the back bedroom and the side door. The back bedroom floor was cracked and gave in one spot when you walked on it. It felt very unstable. We did not allow any of our girls to stay in this room for fear of it braking and them falling through. We also had some concerns with the side door as the doorknob was very loose, to the point we were afraid it would fall off."

"Just like photos. Would stay again with a few adjustments. The washer broke and we were having to glue the door together. Faith was quick in ordering part but it never arrived. There needs to be a better assortment of cooking utensils as what was there is minimal at best. Baking and cooking sheets need to be added . "We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Retro Retreat! Our team was in town for a tennis tournament, and this charming home was the perfect base for our weekend getaway. The spacious rooms comfortably accommodated all eleven of us, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy their stay. "The property was nice. I booked this place because it was on the river and I know the guys and I would enjoy that after a long day at work. It was winter down in Alabama and even though it was nice the week we were there, the week prior have 7 inches of snow. I say that because the pool and the outside of the property could have been better maintained. Overall, the trip was nice and enjoyable. I would stay here again with my crew if the opportunity presents itself. "
