Centro is dangerous. we went there and were attacked by 2 people while many people watching at 10:30 amvas if it is normal. police came later and did nothing. we heard from them that we were the third attack. d sao luis is very dangerous. go straight to barrienhas if you lan to visit the Lencyos national park. it is not worth to risk your life. there are many poor people in town and police has given up. "This hotel is a bit tired. The pool was dirty. The room needed a good cleaning. The beds are hard and they only had a single sheet on the beds, no blankets. We asked for more pillows and got a couple but it would have been nice to have more pillows. The breakfast in the morning had a nice selection. But the best part is that it was right across the street from the Bumba Meu Boi festival! We were in Sao Luis to go to a festival and were quite happy that is was so close. The down side is that it was really loud all night. All in all, this hotel did the trick. "

"Overall, we had a pretty good stay at this hotel. For the money, it delivers good value. The room itself was pretty clean, but our shower was quite dirty and could use a proper deep cleaning. But all the staff were very Nice and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items, including a good selection of fresh fruit. And the location is very good, especially for a nice dinner out on a restaurant near the Lagoon or at champs mall nearby."
