Centro is dangerous. we went there and were attacked by 2 people while many people watching at 10:30 amvas if it is normal. police came later and did nothing. we heard from them that we were the third attack. d sao luis is very dangerous. go straight to barrienhas if you lan to visit the Lencyos national park. it is not worth to risk your life. there are many poor people in town and police has given up. "

"I was visiting my home town with my boyfriend (we're a gay couple) and was really worried we would be disrespected by non-LGBTQ friendly staff, specially given I know the city and how it can be unfriendly at some places, and Bristol seemed like a safe choice. We couldn't be happier! The staff was really friendly and welcoming of us, treated us really well, was very helpful when needed. The rooms where also very comfortable (the most comfortable we've had on our trip to Brazil), AC was working perfectly and the breakfast was really good and authentic. Couldn't recommend more :)"
