"Our group consisted of 12 people who are all professional colleagues/friends, who planned this retreat after an international conference we had together in Lisbon. We wanted a relaxing place on the coast where we could all hang out and decompress from our busy professional lives. The barn is absolutely incredible. We had a private chef (Jamie, who the owner connected us with) who was absolutely amazing. He cooked us three solid meals and knew the space very well. The property manager Fernando was absolutely incredible as well- very responsive and communicative. He cared a lot about our stay. The place is clean, big, and perfect for a large group hangout. We made use of the pool just a little bit, and because we were there in early October it wasn't quite as warm as we would have liked. I do wish the pool was heated. We did have one unexpected issue- and I only bring it up because Fernando was so incredibly helpful and responsive throughout. The town had a water issue, which meant we had no running water for one night. This was not the fault of the property owner obviously, but they were able to really tend to our needs and create helpful contingency plans as a result of the issue. We could not be more impressed with the professionalism with which they handled the situation. Hopefully it was an outlier situation. All in all, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.
