"This is an excellent hotel with great staff and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent, and the hotel is located close to the Metro and a 15 minute walk to the main tourist centre. The hotel is in a busy area, so expect traffic noise - but this has been made significantly worse by the work to expand the Metro during the working day. Ask for a room at the back of the hotel! "

"Amazing location, easy to find, instructions of check-in sent day ahead were clear and easy to understand. Very comfortable bed, lots of towels, lots of books and dvd to choose from (even though dvd player wasn't working and all dvd were in Portugese). Salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, coffee and tea provided. They could improve on cosmetic side of the apartment (fresh paint to cover water damage on the walls) and more instructions could be in the apartment how to use Aircon to warm up the room . Also...

"Our host Raphael was wonderful. He met us at the apartment and assisted with our luggage. He was willing to answer any questions during our stay. The place itself was very clean and included all the basic kitchen amenities. It’s in a convenient location with many places to eat that were great and at a reasonable price. If someone has mobility issues, this place may be difficult as it’s on the fourth floor with steep stairs. There is no elevator. "

"Splendid hotel just sensibly away from the busy area of Porto. Speedy check in and out. Pleasant comfortable rooms with good shower. Rooftop bar is great for early evening drinks. Panoramic. Lunch was good value. 5 minute walk to the Mercado de Bolhau which is a must. Never seen anything like it before. So pristine and clean. The riverfront is a 20 minute walk downhill but coming back up is not trial. Plenty of bars/restaurants/shops to break your journey. Hopon/Hopoff buses also a great...

"Good breakfast. Asked the lady at reception to help me with selecting the right train station for taxi from the app. She selected the wrong one assuring me its correct. With taxi driver’s help who caught an error, we were able to get to the station ontime .Else we would have been late for our train. Staff should be more attentive . If doesnt know, better ask someone else . "
