"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was excellent. A small fridge was provided me upon request. Filtered water was readily available for the guests to keep in their rooms. The facility was beautifully and meaningfully decorated reflecting Ecuadorian culture. I don't think Expedia should advertise them as having a restaurant. It's misleading,especially if the person who books really wants to have access to a restaurant in their hotel. "

"We managed to stay in 3 of the suites they had to offer - every single one of them were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff was so kind and helpful, bringing us fresh pastries every morning. The fridge was always stocked with eggs and bfast supplies. A constantly replenished supply of fresh fruit on the table. The beds were comfortable, the showers clean with good water pressure. The location is right on the edge of old town, walking distance to several sights and restaurants. It is also right down the street from the pick up/drop off point for the bus to the Amazon. Hands down, this is where we will always stay if we ever return to Quito. "

"The staff of this location are exceptional. There was delicious made to order breakfast every morning. We relied heavily on the front desk staff since we speak little Spanish. They recommended lunch spots, called us taxis, and helped at every opportunity. The hotel is older but very clean. The front door is locked at all times and the front desk buzz you in and out. This added security helped us to feel safe at all times. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a worry free stay. "
