"Excellent hotel"

"The staff members that work there are incredible. The management mismanages bookings and pricing. There is major construction next door and i had issues in every room i stayed in. From broken window to shower not draining. It is not a hostal in the typical travelers or backpackers idea. If you are a backpacker id recommend staying at a different hostal. "

"The view from the property is spectacular. You can see Santiago in its entirety. the hotel itself is updated and nicely appointed. They have balconies outside of the units, but they don't have a swimming pool. The restaurant and bar is very nice. The food is a bit pricey, and the portions are on the small size. I can recommend the Cheeseburger with French fries for a filling lunch. There is nowhere nearby to shop or dine as far as I know. It's a great short stay location in the DR."
