"The price is not worth what they offer. There was no ventilation or tv in the room. Just a very tiny desk and chair. Hot shower was not working, they had to come help and get it fix 30 mins so we could shower. If the price was lower I understand what they offer is limited, but not worth even the $60 the night."

"Location good, but the hotel was closed. Had been closed for weeks. We had a pre-paid confirmed reservation from Expedia. Confirm Expedia reservations with your hotel. "

"This is a beautiful property and building. Gisella is a kind and amazing host and the food is some of the best we have had in our travels. Our stay here was so restful and it is a wonderful way to recharge. I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone needing to unwind and recharge a bit. We will certainly be back for another stay next time we are in the area."

"First of all - do NOT pay in advance on Hotels.com as the owner won't accept this and will claim that he never gets money from Hotels.com. I was too tired to argue, so I paid again at hotel (though I shoved him my e-mail confirmation that all was paid for). "I’ve stayed at many places but this is definitely one of my favorites. The building looks brand new and very well-maintained. There is a hangout room on the top floor with a huge Tv and coffee machine. Next to it is a small gym with a bathroom and a shower! There is also WiFi that works very well in both rooms! "The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, and so convenient having it in the hotel. Central location providing walking distance access to many San Jose highlights. The room was a bit dark, as a few of the lights weren’t working. We notified the front desk, so hopefully will be much improved for the next guests. There was a great sitting area outside our rooms for the group to gather and discuss plans etc. Very much appreciated! "

"The views were spectacular. The service was excellent. The room was spotless and beautiful. I have 2 suggestions. Add two hooks to one of the walls in the bathroom. There is no place to hand towels once used. Also, add a shelf under the sink area to place other toiletries."
