"The place didn’t have a setup account for expedia payments and couldn’t stay at the place which was empty at a very shady location. Such inconvenient to arrive and leave at night time to find another place to stay. "

Mario's Rooms

2.5 star property
6.8 out of 10, (3)
"It’s a cute little place run by friendly people. My room was small but clean and had everything I needed in there. The courtyard was cute and I even saw a bunny in there at one point! Breakfast was very small but tasted good. It was VERY noisy at night so definitely bring ear plugs but other than that it was a decent place right in the heart of the market area"

"I’ve had the opportunity to travel more than most for work as well as pleasure. I’ve stayed in 5 star accommodation hotels across the US, Europe, Asia and South America. I’ve enjoyed Vrbo’s in North, Central and South America. With that said, Chateau Maldonado is in the top three places I’ve stayed ever for three reasons. One- the area and the view. The home sits on a picturesque location that looks like it could be the set of a romance movie. Perched on a cliff above Lake Atitlan (the worlds...

"Sarnai is amazing! From arrival to departure. Easy and smooth. Everything looked clean, cozy, comfortable and provided everything that is needed. It is a great stay in such a beautiful part of the world. It is evident the host has put attention, care and awareness into this place. Everything is great from the vibes, views to the surrounding nature. I particularly like that each room has it's "own name". Sarnai is highly, highly recommended, one of my new favorite places. "
