"Amazing views and the terrace with the jacuzzi is absolutely worth it. Daily cleaning with fresh towels, coffee/tea refills, and everything left spotless. The bed was super big and very comfortable. They even left us a complimentary bottle of wine. The reception staff were incredibly kind and helpful, both via WhatsApp and in person. The road is steep but manageable with an SUV (no 4x4 needed), and walking takes just 7–10 minutes. We loved that it’s away from the busy center—much more peaceful and the views are way better. Only downside: the kitchen is minimally equipped (just two glasses, two plates, one pan), and lacks basics like salt or oil. Also, most of the fridge space is taken by minibar items (for purchase). Still, we highly recommend it!"

"Our stay at the Emerald Abode was truly unforgettable — pure magic from start to finish. My husband and I came to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place.The house itself is a dream. It does take a little adjustment to the outdoor kitchen and semi-outdoor bathroom, but once you settle in, it feels like paradise. Waking up to the 180-degree ocean view every morning was breathtaking — pictures can’t do it justice. The privacy and view alone make it top notch.What made our stay even more special was April, the owner. She is incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. She had a bottle of rosé, fresh fruit, bread, and eggs waiting for us, which was such a thoughtful touch after our late arrival. Her hospitality made us feel instantly at home and very safe. Santa Teresa is a beautiful, laid-back town filled with lovely people and easy access to beaches, snorkeling, and wildlife preserves — we did a ton in the area but honestly, it was hard to tear ourselves away from the serenity of the Abode.We are already dreaming of coming back. It’s one of those places you almost don’t want to share so it can stay a hidden gem — but it deserves every bit of praise. Thank you, April, for making our 10-year anniversary so magical!"

"We stayed at the hotel for five nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and the hotel was beautiful and very clean. It’s clear that every detail was thoughtfully considered. The rooms were cleaned more than once a day, and the breakfast was tasty and varied. The location is great and close to everything. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back next time!"

"Short walk to the beach and surfing. Staff very friendly. Hotel is very clean, new and modern. Beds are comfortable. Lower rooms have windows to the inner courtyard, restaurant and pool, no windows to outside."

"It was a great place, just be mindful the beach is a 4x4 or four wheeler drive away and a bit hard to find but the people are very helpful and send you videos and are available for anything to help you and send pins ect so you can go to different places. Very peaceful vibes "

"We have stayed at Fuego several times and will continue to come back as it is the perfect paradise. Beautiful place to stay, delicious breakfast, yoga, a beautiful pool and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very walkable to many restaurants, all beaches and even shopping. Highly recommend!!!"
