"The hotel is set in a small village on the top of a hill overlooking Lake Como. The view is gorgeous, the restaurant was awesome and the staff are so lovely. I didn’t find the room particularly comfortable but we stayed in the least expensive room so perhaps the more expensive ones are a bit cozier. Our room was very basic and a bit run down but it’s an old building and has a lot of charm. Overall, it’s lovely but if you want luxury, I would recommend upgrading your room to a suite. "We loved it here! The communication was top notch, they handled our dinner bookings and had the most beautiful view from their Infiniti pool! Rooms were clean and gorgeous and a short drive from Bellagio! The chef was sick unfortunately however breakfast each morning was far more than we have grown to expect in our travels! Highly recommend for a romantic getaway! "

"We got the family room which was spacious enough for the four of us. The room was clean . The entrance of the building was depressing with lots of mess and bird poops all around. The elevator was a plus. "

"Wemtend to be bottom feeders, so stayed in Griante rather than Bellagio. Our hotel turned out to be, not a hotel, but a two bedroom apartment with a great view of the lake. Apparently the Como Vita has places all over Griante. We had to follow a guide, by car, for about five minutes from the check-in spot to get to this place high up the hill, then another 30 steps from the street up to the great spot. "This apartment was in a wonderful location near the water, restaurants and food shopping. Plenty of parking and convenient to the apartment. The apartment had everything you’d need for cooking, laundry and restful spaces. There was a cute porch with a view of a small chapel, a castle and the lake if you stood close to the railing. This location was so beautiful and restful. A great getaway for a couple!"
