"Hotel el Covento is very well located, close to all sorts of dining and shopping locales and next to the Cathedral. It's colonial architecture gives it a very special charm and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant food and waitresses are really good. The only mishap was the faulty elevator but overall I would definitely recommend it."

"Nice property and helpful (and available) front desk with lots of suggestions. The rooftop dining and ground level restaurant are very good as well. All in all, a positive experience - we did upgrade to a suite to get some more views and lighting into the room, which helped immensely. "

"Check in went smoothly without a hitch and the location is perfect for exploring OSJ and the nearby Castillo. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean, if a little tight. We were only there to sleep though so tight quarters were not a problem. Waking up to the sounds of birdsong was a pleasant surprise. Conveniently close to good music, restaurants, and attractions.
