"Booked for August for our family of 4. When we arrived the place looked beautiful, so much history! After being checked in we got into our apartment and started to notice some issues. The air was stale and moldy smelling, the furniture was dated and dirty and there were some functional issues with electrical outlets and one of the toilets. "Surrounding is nice but coming to the apartment - disappointment. Spacious place but poorly maintained, grounds as well as bathrooms were not clean. Plenty of dead moskitos covered the walls additionally. Mold in the bathrooms and strange stains. There were doors instead of windows and no fly screens at all. "We stayed one week in one of the appartments outside of the castle. We had the big one (No. 1.B) with 4 bedrooms. So a lot of space for 4 people like us, it might be a bit more cosy with the supposed 8 people max. capacity. The environment around the castle is great, pure Tuscan, great views of the countryside and most of the Tuscan attractions are close by to be reached within a daytrip. Rooms were clean and in reasonable shape. The fridge was big enough and had a huge freezer compartment....
