"It was great to stay in a historic old home. It was totally comfortable and though I would be considered elderly I don’t come to Italy expecting not to have to climb stairs or do a lot of walking. The breakfast was basic continental style but everything served was above average. I wish there had been some Kleenex as noses of the elderly do weep more than we want them to. "The Hotel Continental was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were comfortable with a large patio facing the water. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. My friend and I ate at the bar that evening and the food was tasty. The Hotel Continental was well-located for walks into town, as well as to Portofino and Rapallo. "Fabulous location with stunning views. Rooms are on the more basic side but with good bathrooms - all round very well kept and clean. Food is delicious with an on site chef (although dinner is quite expensive). Pool area is lovely with great views - opt for the pool access rooms to make best use of this."
