"We had a wonderful stay at this great villa which is only a short drive from the airport, but provides a quiet and beautiful location. For mid-to-late October, we were blessed with the weather, which only enhanced the beauty of the place and its surroundings. There are restaurants and amenities that are only a short drive away, so there's plenty still to see and do. Joao was an excellent host and communication with him was excellent. If I can guarantee the weather, I'll certainly be back!"

"Property was still being prepared 2hours late Property was non smoking but stank of smoke (previous guests?, cleaners?) Pool was full of flies so had to clean myself. Marble surface in the kitchen was cracked and we were told no to use it, so didn’t have a functioning kitchen for the visit. Only bedding was a thin blanket or a stained duvet without a cover so had to but our own bedding on arrival. "Our family of 6 adults recently stay at Villa Murta for 3 weeks in May24 and were very pleased with our decision to stay here. The villa was very large and fit our family well. We enjoyed the pool and the pool table and the location to Faro and surrounding area was easy to access. The road leading to the villa is very narrow so a smaller vehicle is recommended. "An enjoyable stay at this lovely villa. Heated pool was a highlight. The place is well equipped and in a great location for the beach and supermarket. Some basic provisions (bread/milk/water) might have been nice on arrival as we arrived late in the evening, but overall this villa was a great location for a multi-generational family holiday. "

"Miriam’s home couldn’t be more beautiful. Had everything you could want and more. Only drawback is that it is a bit of a drive to many of the Algarve towns and Altura, while charming and cute, did not offer much to do. This is not a complaint, just something to consider if you are looking for more liveliness. Mirian was wonderful and very accommodating. Truly loved this property and would gladly go back if the opportunity presented itself. Highly recommended!"

"We had a lovely stay for 2 weeks in August 2024. The villa was perfect for 2 families, plenty of space for everyone individually but also to all be together. The 2 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs are only suitable for small children or anyone under 3ft! "Spectacular villa with beautiful outside space, pool and equipped with everything you need. When my wife needed a little plaster for her heel- it was there. I had a fly bite- antiseptic spray was there. A super relaxing experience. Lovely memories will stay with us. Only downside is that we don't own it!"

"This is an outstanding property and exactly as advertised. The house is spacious, ultra clean and comfortable; nothing is lacking. The pool was great and much needed during the hot summer. The location is good; in a nice neighborhood that it is a little “off the beaten track” but pretty easy with a car. The hosts and house manager are easy to comunicate with. Good job all round."

"Me and my family stayed for 3 nights ar Real Marine Residence. The two bedroom flat was excellent. We had a everting what we need for our stay. The only things that we could not take advantage was the roof top swiming pool due to the weather. The staff were very kind and helpfull. We paid for breakfast for duration of our stay and we was given one day free breakfast. We really enjoy our stay and will recomended this hotel to our freinds "
