"The property is well maintained inside. Nice bar area adjoining the lobby & there is a lovely rooftop terrace but one must be able to climb stairs. The reception staff all speak adequate English and are very friendly and helpful. The two cooks (Wilfredo & Yoenky) are excellent, very attentive, & will prepare available items however you like. The manager, Alberto, is a very interesting man, with whom we enjoyed spending time. The only downside is odiferous streets in most of Havana, which is out of their control. The government's method of garbage collection is, unfortunately, wholly inadequate. The property is conveniently located only 7 blocks from the historic district where the Capitolio and the Plaza de la Revolución are located, an easy walk."

"The best staff ever , very helpful and nice would make you feel at home. I loved that the breakfast option was at any time wanted not at a specific hour .. the area is very safe and close to every tourist attraction as well. 10/10 experience, they offer great service , pick up and drop off from and to the airport or any other place you want to go to ! I would probably come again just to stay in this Hostal❤️"

"The rooftop bar lounge breakfast area is unique in giving a real closeness to the life in this quite rundown part of the old city. Amazing views. I loved it. Interior is very modern, staff helpful. Within stones throw of one outstanding restaurant and another good cafe restaurant. The old square is just a few minutes walk, too. "

They were incredibly hospitable, both before and during our stay, the room was cleaned to perfection, everyone was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was amazing!
