"What an amazing hotel in a mixed suburban area (which was very safe) . The hotel is a wonderful old building with many interesting artefacts, a museum in effect. The room was clean and spacious with a high ceiling and a modern bathroom. The hotel had a delightful pool area, perfect for relaxing on our final day in Havana, only 20 minutes to the airport. The outside area a beautiful garden and a great set up for a delicious breakfast at only $8 each. There were great roof terraces with amazing panoramic views of the whole city. The hotel were kind enough to allow us to keep our room on until we left later in the evening for our flight, at no extra cost. There was a great restaurant just three blocks away, called...... Which served great food, at a reasonable cost, with nice cold draft beer and excellent views and service. The hosts at the hotel were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would recommend a stay if you fancy a change from the busy city. "

"A wonderful start in Cuba. Our host, Cecilia arranged for her brother to collect us from the airport in a great classic car. Even though we we late arriving in the night she and her husband, Markus were frienely faces and met us at the apartment to let us in, explain everything and also change some money for us. The apartment was cool ,clean and well located within easy walking distance to everything in the old town of Havana. Cecilia continued to be very helpful throughout our stay and then kindly organised our onward travel in a collectivo to Vinales. She came back to say goodbye and offer us any other help we might need for our stay in Cuba. We would highly recommend her place for any travellers."

"The Jesus Maria hotel was a great place to stay during our trip to Havana. Old Havana is not the bustling beauty it once was, and it could certainly use some time, money and attention to bring it back; but that is part of the charm and why one might want to spend time there. Much effort has been put into some buildings, and the Jesus Maria hotel is one of these. The care to detail is evident, and they were able to put in modern conveniences and still maintain the historic charm of the building. Breakfast is served on the rooftop with individual care to your desires. Location: Just across the street from the water and minutes away from the El Capitolio, Plaza de San Francisco de Asis, Calle Obispo and the Grand Theater. But far enough from the hub-bub to provide a very quiet stay. Let’s talk about customer service: It was excellent. From the time we arrived to the day we left, the staff was available to meet our needs, answer our questions, and to wave us goodbye as our car drove away. We had reached out to Arianne (manager) before arriving, and she made arrangements with drivers for us, and they were top-notch. I have no hesitation recommending the Jesus Maria hotel to anyone visiting Havana who would like a bespoke experience in old the town. "

"Just returned from a 3 day stay at Residencia Santa Clara and truly a great experience. As others have mentioned, the entire staff is so genuinely warm and welcoming. Very much a family ambiance. My room was spotless and very comfortable and the Residencia sits in a perfect spot in Old Havana just minutes from beautiful Plaza Vieja and busy Calle Obispo. The historical treasures of Havana are all around you and the Residencia will easily and happily arrange transportation all around town. The included breakfast was delicious and the lobby bar a nice spot for a nightcap. Special kudos to the wonderful Lider who is an incredible guide and can help with transportation and activities with a warm and personal touch. I would very happily return to Residencia Santa Clara and thank them for a wonderful time! "

"My sister and I absolutely loved our stay at Alhabana. 1st the level of service is warm, generous, attentive, very personalized, knowledgeable and effective. We were able to communicate with Mariem before getting to Havana, and she was extremely helpful and accommodating from the beginning providing great information that was valuable allowing us to plan an epic trip. All the reception staff we worked with (Mariem, Fabio and Rafael) maintained the same level of personable, kind, resourceful service throughout our stay with seamless communication and cooperation among them allowing them to keep track of all our activities. They were all key to arranging great excursions, transportation and any other services we needed with incredible service providers. 2nd the property is exceptionally clean, well maintained, breakfast was great (special mention to Pedro and Pavel), and all amenities were present as listed. The casa is well located as we were able to walk most of the time to our activities in the city. We recommend this place if you are looking to have an immersive, authentic experience in Havana."

Sure, but I can guarantee you won't find better service anywhere. They really do treat you like family, and go out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible. "
