"My fiancé and I stayed here last week for a wedding and will definitely make this our go to hotel whenever we are in town. The booking was quick and easy and hassle free which was convenient after driving hours to get to Santa Barbara. We had a positive encounter with a gentleman by the name of Mr. Ramirez who welcomed us with complementary coffee, breakfast and gave us a rundown of the restaurant and amenities. The front desk attendant made checking in a breeze and was able to get us our room right away. I really feel that Mr. Ramirez and the entire staff at the Steward make this hotel feel comfortable. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks again to the entire staff for creating a positive experience on us. Kudos!"

"This is an older property but it is very well maintained. No hot breakfast (bacon, eggs or sausage) but the cold choices were plentiful. Cereal, oatmeal, waffles. Would definitely stay here again "

"Our family really enjoyed the amenities this hotel offered, but were sad to learn the pool was under construction. It’s not the hotels fault, but I’d say Expedia included the closure in very small print that I did not notice when booking, so that was a bummer. I’m sure it will be beautiful when it’s re-opened. We thought the property was so beautiful and grand. Loved having the beach view patio. We really enjoyed taking the bikes down to east beach and enjoy lunch on the beach. The beach chairs were also great for guests to use. Would go back in a heart beat but after the pool is finished. "
