"This hotel is fantastic! In spite of the fact that the lobby was undergoing renovations, it did not affect or stay. The staff is outstanding. We were allowed an early check-in, and the check-out time was 12:00pm. The newly renovated rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have softer pillows. It is at a great location with easy access to restaurants, stores, cafes, etc. It is also near the train station, if you travel by train, which we did. Highly recommend. "

"Centrally located for all of our exploring. Staff was very helpful in suggesting personal favorite places to dine. Parking proximity to our room was excellent. *We did find the main entrance difficult to locate as it is located in the back of the facility--so some information about that ahead of time would have been helpful. "I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. It was much nicer than I had imagined. I have been past this hotel numerous times before but had not considered staying here, but am glad that I have discovered it now. Everything seems to be newly renovated and the rooms and grounds were very clean."

"This was a small boutique type hotel that was very clean and cared for. The hotel was set up to show guests they are special and that showed with nice additions as daily coffee, tea, snacks and complimentary welcome drinks. Bike and beach rentals. The location is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood half a block from the beach. Many dining options are just a few blocks away. We walked every day and did not need to drive anywhere. " We were visiting schools in California and moving around everyday. This place by far was my favorite. It was the only place that offered complimentary coffee and a variety of bakery items, yogurt and fruit. Very clean and comfortable beds. For us, that were always on the go to our scheduled appointments it was definitely a plus. Front desk staff was super friendly too. I would definitely stay here again! "
