"The room was perfectly acceptable in this hostel and the hostel is right on one of the nicest beaches in the area. Luxury and bellmen offering drinks on the beach is not what this hostel is about. Ecological offerings in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner are. Where possible the food is bio as are the interesting array of wines produced by the vineyard, which owns this hostel. "Great hotel, with friendly staff. Really good value and the breakfasts were good. Ideally positioned in the old town away from the noise of the bars at the far end of the resort, and only a minute or two to the beach. The area is beautiful and even being the world Cup final weekend (which I didn't realise when I booked it!) it wasn't too loud or rowdy. Very pleasantly surprised by both the hotel and the resort. "The swimming pool was great, some of the staff (e.g. at the swimming pool) was very friendly and kind - but not everything was excellent. There is no remote control for the airco, it's only on or off. We did not receive any clean towels during our stay, and for example, the safe in the bedroom needs to be rented per day separately. Also, the advertisement mentions a kitchen where you can prepare food. As we had children, that would have been welcome, but the kitchen hardly had utensils to...

"Exceptional service from the recepcionist at our arrival. Large and modern room with a marvelous ocean view. The bed is confortable. Everything clean and modern. It was great to be able to walk from the hotel to the Platja d'Aro restaurants and shopping area. We really appreciate our stay."

"A beautiful property with a stunning view. We initially planned to stay for one night but ended up extending our stay for three days. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the service was exceptional. The hotel is incredibly clean and has a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Will be returning! "

"This hotel was really lovely and comfortable. The parking situation was a bit tricky. We ended up parking in the wrong garage and paid $51 for one day. So be careful, and do not park in the Biblioteca (library) parking lot. There are several restaurants and bars close to the hotel. The rooms were big and comfortable, but the AC was not working, so we had to open the windows. My friend's room was facing the church, and they rang the bell at night, like every hour, disturbing their sleep. The breakfast was great! "

Perfect for Girona airport

"We choose this hotel due to its proximity to Girona airport and it was perfect for arriving and departing by plane. The hotel runs a shuttle service to and from the airport which is included in the price. It just made our trip so much more relaxing. The facilities are great. We loved the large courtyard with the pool - perfect for relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There’s also a regular bus that gets you from the hotel to Girona in 20 minutes. "

"Booked for two nights as part of our Spain travel, Staff very friendly and accommodating, requested a last minute card and wine for my husband's birthday but they still made it possible, not too near to the beach area but very relaxing ambience and amenities. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. Excellent customer service. "
