"We had a wonderful week in Trémolat. The gîte was just on the edge of the village - a 2 minute walk to the boulangerie in the mornings. Lovely quiet location. Amazing pool! "We thought this place was wonderful. The living/dining room was well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a balcony looking over the ruins of the nunnery and the town. Bed and bath were very nice, and I appreciated the washer. Caroline was helpful, and brought peaches from her garden: delicious. One caveat: 2nd floor means "climb 2 long flights of stairs"."

"We were expecting difficulty in finding this property, deep in the Dordogne, but Google maps came up trumps. The time taken to reach it after the main roads ran out was, however, a small problem. "This was our second time staying at the apartment. It is well located - easy walking distance to E. Leclerc supermarket and to the Wednesday and Saturday markets where you can buy cheeses, fresh produce, nougat, etc. Great location for visiting Sorge, Monbazillac , etc. About an hour’s drive to Sarlat. Very good communication with hosts- you may need to use Google translate if your French is limited. Great value for the location and amenities. An older apartment. We would stay again."

"Great location, lovely pool! The rooms are spacious. It would. We didn't know until we left that there were some breakfast products available in the building next to the pool. Also, there wasn't any info on the gym. A bit more comprehensive info in English (probably other languages too) would really help. Also, check in time of 5pm is really late, and check out of 10 is too early. I appreciate they need to clean a whole apartment, but its difficult to work with those times."

"This is a lovely house in a beautiful rural setting. Our only recommendation to the property owners would be to update the bedding, specifically in the primary bedroom upstairs. The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Also, the description suggests it is a 4 minute walk to the National History Museum and 13 minute walk to the Les Eyzies train station. Unless there is a path through the woods that we did not find, the road to town is unwalkable and dangerous."
