"We had a wonderful week in Trémolat. The gîte was just on the edge of the village - a 2 minute walk to the boulangerie in the mornings. Lovely quiet location. Amazing pool! "We thought this place was wonderful. The living/dining room was well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a balcony looking over the ruins of the nunnery and the town. Bed and bath were very nice, and I appreciated the washer. Caroline was helpful, and brought peaches from her garden: delicious. One caveat: 2nd floor means "climb 2 long flights of stairs"."

"We were a little confused about the number of bedrooms, listing details said two bedrooms. There was only the one seperate bedroom with a double bed and a travel cot. The Sofa bed was in the lounge area. It was not a problem for us but could be if you really need two seperate bedrooms. It was lovely and clean throughout and the front terrace was a lovely sunny spot all day! Our host, Fred was lovely, very discreet but available if we needed anything."

Everything I needed and all the activities were within a 2 to 15 minute walk - post office, grocery store, walking tours, bakeries, restaurants, everything! I have stayed in several VRBO rentals over the years, and Francis is, by far, the best host I have ever met! He is so caring, attentive and helpful, and can’t do enough for you. He communicated regularly to be sure everything was okay with my stay. It was a wonderful month’s stay....

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
