"We decided to stay at the cabin as it was relatively close to Alten towers. The location was beautiful, peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. On arrival we noticed there was a code lock but hadn't got a code to open the door. I called the owner and she was abrupt and gave me the code. "The lodge was perfect for 2 couples and a great base for walking in the Peak District. The lodge its self was clean and cosy and had the bonus of the hot tub to sooth achy limbs! Check in was very simple and secure & communication with the manager was fantastic and very prompt. There is a great pub 15 mins walk from the lodge The Plough Inn, which server great food , I would recommend booking to eat there as it was very busy. "Great location in the middle of the countryside. Perfect for one or two adults (3-4 might be a squeeze but you'd be fine with little ones). Heather, the host was great, and provided pro-active communication. Wood fired hot-tub was a novelty but worked great. Would highly recommend."
