"The property is a very nice 11Century building and is maintained impeccably BUT all should know the bathrooms are small, so small the shower head hangs from the ceiling and the drain is in the middle of the floor beneath it. There is a room that has no personal bath it is down the hall but has a regular shower"

"Lovely property inside the city walls but away from the high traffic tourist areas. Well equipped with everything you need. Easy check in. We had a lovely visit in Volterra."

"The room was clean, we were not able to figure out how to use hot water, no instructions and no one to ask. Internet is very poor, working only on the 1 st flr not at all in our room on thr second, we spent hours standing in cold dark lobby to get reception for checking in for our flights and planning the road Parking is also a problem around that place."

"Ho alloggiato nella struttura per soli 2 giorni, ma la gentilezza e disponibilità dei proprietari è stata evidente ancora prima del mio arrivo. Il bilocale è molto carino ed arredato con gusto, ed ogni cosa ha il giusto posto. Presenta un bagno spazioso con una doccia di buone dimensioni. Porto con me un bel ricordo di questa esperienza. "We didn't get the e-mail with the codes to the doors. The wifi doesn't connect to the internet. Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay. The place lokks abandoned from the inside. The room wasclean when we arrived. The inside of the place looks nice. "

"We had 8 people and we stayed in the Pallazo and found this to be a fantastic experience in a great gem of the city. Marcia was an excellent host and the accommodations which are in a building from 1132 were magnificent. I highly recommend this place."

"The room was very convenient for visiting the Leonardo museum. There was a restaurant near by for supper. We came by bus so we had to watch the schedule out as it was a Sunday and there were only two buses back. Coffee and tea was appreciated. "

"We booked the property as per description in expedia. You need to be a boy scout to find the place. No signs at all, not even on the locked gate where we had to wait for one hour that someone opens it. We were the only guest with absolutely nobody else in the house. There was no air-condition anywhere, no WLAN at all, no hair dryer, no toiletries etc etc. All things which were supposed to be there according to the site description on expedia. We complained about the missing a/c and the rep...

"We really enjoyed staying at this property. The location - in a small Tuscan town - was convenient for seeing the area plus having access to town facilities. We used the free washing machine and drying area as well as appreciating the kitchen and space of the apartment. The apartment had a real 'Tuscan villa' feel."

"Nice quiet spot in the woods but very close to San Gimignano. Very clean. Comfortable beds. They don’t provide towels or soaps, but that is clear up front. You can rent towels if you want and they sell soap/ shampoo in the office. "

"We were a group of 7 and rented all 4 rooms in the building. We loved the private, remote location and the outdoor areas - such as the covered seating area next to the grill and games on the lawn! The pool is huge and especially deep! Claudia takes great care of it (we could not find the special sun tan cream that she recommended - for some reason our normal sun tan lotions caused white swimming costumes to go yellow in places). Thankfully I read a review about the mosquitoes so we came well...

"Castelfalfi is a tucked away paradise in Tuscany. I was genuinely wowed from the moment I stepped in the lobby. Besides the beautiful views and the amazing rooms, one of the best parts was the service. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, at home, and fully taken care of. The little details and surprises every day were amazing. Thank you Benjamin for upholding the perfection of hospitality! I would also like to call out the restaurant thats right in the hotel. Every dinner was spectacular. The specials each night were to die for!! I am normally not a big hotel breakfast girl but everything was amazing each morning and they remembered all of my preferences after day one. I recommend doing the wine tour early in your stay so you can try all of their wines made on property, pick your favs, and order them throughout your stay. Lastly the spa is beautiful and the massages are so professional and well done! "
