"We stayed in a Hotiday room,24. The hotel was in a fabulous location a few minutes walk from the castle and cathedral and the old city has a wonderful grid system so it is easy to navigate. Parking is through a side gate and then there are plenty of spaces but at €18 a day it is quite pricey. Check in was functional. "We had booked a double room for our son and his fiancée and a twin room for ourselves. As it was a special occasion we asked for views with both rooms. In the event our son's fiancée was unable to make the trip. When we arrived we were told there had been a mixup and we would have to move temporarily to what was admittedly a better room which we did. "This place was everything I hoped for. Practical, simple, and easy"

"We had a very pleasant stay here. The room was very large with a very spacious bathroom. Everything was extremely clean and very well appointed. We received a friendly welcome even with a major language barrier. We were encouraged to have our evening meal in their restaurant - what a treat it was! Excellent local food, plentiful and well priced. Breakfast was included in our room rate - it was very good! Overall we would recommend this place, perfect for a few nights to explore the local area...

"It was a single unit flat which we liked. It was absolutely good for privacy and quietness. The space inside the flat was very well organised, but small. It is close to the city, but at the same time quite and far from concrete and buildings. It was a pleasant stay, and with the good weather, in spring or summer it should be amazing! We staid in late October and it was rainy, so couldn’t enjoy the full potential of the property. "

"Residenza Ariosto is an excellent place to stay in Bologna. The apartment is not luxurious but is clean ,comfortable and has everything you need. The apartments in via Marsala are in a great position to explore and enjoy Bologna. Instructions for check in are clear. This is our second stay and we highly recommend."

"We loved the Social Hub in Bologna! The staff is very kind and its very close to the station, so it was easy for us to take day trips around the surrounding area. I could stay longer. It is also a student accommodation, but since we were on the third floor, we didn’t really hear students"
