"The property was accurate to the description and very clean. The pool area is very nice and we spent most of our time outside in the pool having fun. The home is located in a authentic area and sets behind the jungle so the views was actually more then I thought there was. I will be back for sure"

"This was our first visit to beautiful Costa Rica. We stayed only a few days in San Jose before we ended our trip on the Pacific side.There were 7 of us traveling together for a family reunion and this hacienda was perfect for us! Plenty of room and easy to get around. The home had everything we could need; full kitchen, washer and dryer, toiletries too. And a huge, well taken care of, yard and garden. "This house is SO special. The art is stunning. Each room had a different feel and meets a different need. The kitchen was fully stocked for wonderful cooking experiences. The host and the staff were so kind, helpful, and welcoming. The six of us had dance parties, pool parties, dinner parties, lots of quiet time, and connection time. We absolutely loved our stay and have zero complaints. "

"Bare bones, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was bottled water in the room and a hot shower (which in Costa Rica is not always a given). I was pleased, too, that they did come pick me up at the airport even though my plane arrived after stated shuttle hours. "

Good hotel near airport

"This hotel has all the basic amenities any traveler would need for quick visit to San Jose. They have free shuttle service to and from San Jose International Airport which is very convenient. There's a 24hr Denny's restaurant next door which was such a welcome surprise since we arrived past midnight and were hungry. Nice breakfast offering in the hotel. Clean and spacious rooms."

"I loved staying at this hotel. The grounds and plantings are gorgeous, the pools feel totally luxurious and all the public spaces feel spacious, clean and elegant. They offer free airport transfers and one can pick up and drop off a rental car right at the hotel, how convenient is that.!!! My room was just fine. I had requested a refrigerator and got one. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious, and I thought great for the price. My granddaughters loved the pools. I plan on staying here again when i have to leave Costa Rica by air. The only complaint is the restaurant ran out of red wine, and 2 of the dishes i wanted to order. The cleaning staff for my room were exceptionally gracious, friendly and kind. I also had a dental problem while i was there and was able to walk to the “Dental Smile Center”, which did a great job helping me. It is also walking distance to a fresh market grocery store, and it was easy to get to downtown San Jose via uber. Yes the hotel is older, but that’s why the plantings are so nice. They even have a garden with a mango tree. The gym is one of the best equipped i have run into in a hotel. So 5 stars"
