"We had a great time staying in Carlsbad for spring break; the condo is a lot bigger than it seems from photos. Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out. We were able to walk into town for dinner each night and the drive into San Diego proper is very quick. It was a little chilly to get in the water but we still spent some quality time at the beach just outside the condo. "

"The property is right on the strand. There is a small road between you and the beach. There are two parking spaces in a garage below the building. The garage is gated. There are really two master suites. One is towards the back. It has a king bed and en suite bathroom. There is a small fridge and microwave. There's access to a private patio (non-ocean facing). The other master has 2Q and has a sitting area. Sliding doors open to the ocean. It has a large bathroom with tub and a shower....

"We were lucky as in Sept we snuck a peek at the empty house on a family visit to the area. We have 9 family in Carlsbad-O'Side.The Beach house is just as listed, and the past 2024-25 reviews are very accurate. We found almost nothing wrong at all with the house. Some doors are hard to open and close to the patio, but we fought through it. Beds and towels are fantastic. Furniture was great and decor was very nice, and everything was very clean. "The house and location were great. We loved the views and the sounds of the ocean. Hanging around the fire pit playing trivia was a lot of fun. We enjoyed many meals and sunsets. Our miniature poodle had fun watching the many squirrels playing in the sand. Overall it was a great location to spend our 20th wedding anniversary."

"This home was wonderful for our stay to visit our son. It is very well equipped with everything you need to cook with in the kitchen. The house is very clean and the outdoor spaces are so beautiful. The property manager was great and always responsive. We would absolutely come back to this home. Just be mindful if you have older guests traveling with you there are many stairs throughout the home. Really cool house and very well maintained. Convenient to restaurants and shopping "

"The home was a perfect place to enjoy time in southern California. The home had supplies needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable. The host was very prompt in responding to a drain issue. The neighborhood was very quiet and we had a great view of ocean from the patio ."

"This property is everything the description promises. Lots of open space for family to congregate and the outdoor area can’t be beat. The location is great and close to lots of great places to eat and shop. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!"

"This property is absolutely gorgeous and is located in a great area. Grocery stores in each direction, eateries and easy access to the highway. It was located just a few minutes from my kids apartment. Must try Pam's Donuts and Frozen Yogart. They have the best apple fritters and donuts in Vista! I will return in December and plan to stay at the same location."
