"It was a cute little room but we did not walk into what we had booked and paid for. The original booking showed two beds and a couch. When we walked in there was only a bed and a couch. My children had to sleep on a metal bed and a blow up mattress that kept going flat. The host was very rude about it and did little to accommodate us. The room we stayed in was less cost than what we originally paid. We definitely got scammed. "

Not only is their ample space, but the location is also such that children can safely play outdoors. What certainly had us pleased is the fact that the owners do have “rules.” For example, shoes are not permitted in the home, which is culturally what we prefer. "We took our 3 kids from 8-12 years old and it was the perfect place! Hosts were on top of getting any information to us that we may have needed. We had extra blankets, pillows, and towels. "This condo was just right for our needs. We were looking for a place with a king size bed and also another bed option (in this case a sofa bed) as we were in the area to move our youngest child into her dorm room at FLC. The dividing wall between the "bedroom" space and living room was perfect to give our 18 year old a bit of privacy the one night she was with us. We loved the property and this unit was impeccably clean and comfortable."

"We love Pagosa Springs and are frequent visitors. This house is right on the lake in a cul de sac. The second floor is accessed by a steep spiral stairway so a bit challenging. Upstairs bedroom has a very firm mattress. Nice lounge area upstairs with tv and small bathroom and double bed. Good communication with the host. Neighborhood a bit unwelcoming. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The house was large enough for our family of 12 which included grandparents down to toddlers! The nice large kitchen was a good gathering place. We did cook most meals at home. We enjoyed the great room and warm fireplace as it snowed o e day!"

Fabulous house with a fabulous view

"We have a wonderful stay here for my birthday, 6 adults and 4 kids under 4. Was spacious enough for everyone to have their own space and safe enough to let the kids run around the house. Well stocked kitchen with a spice cabinet better than my own! Beautiful views and excellent communication with the owners. We will definitely be back again "

"My wife and I took our 2 children and their spouses, our mothers and my grandmother from Arkansas to Durango. I looked for a house with enough beds, bathrooms, seating, and views. This place had that and much more! The views were amazing, the house was so beautiful, and stocked with just about anything that you could need. Our shower even turned into a sauna! We have stayed at many VRBO’s and this place by far was the best I’ve ever seen! My only advice to someone thinking of staying here is be prepared to dive up a very narrow steep road to access the property. 4x4 would be a must in snow season! Thank you to the owners for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! "
