"We got to the property, in the dark, many hours later than we expected and were greeted by two wonderful hosts! Guida and John were exceptionally kind, more than willing to share their suggestions of places to visit and making us feel immediately at home and welcome! The studio was perfect for us. All the amenities one could need, from beach towels to a bathroom with floor to ceiling glass looking out toward San Jose, many, many km's in the distance! This is a perfect place to drop out! It...

"It was just as advertised. I was a little under the weather so didn't get out like I wanted to but the spot was very comfortable."

"We stayed here for a few nights while visiting the Poas Volcano and area waterfalls. Our stay here was WONDERFUL! The place is clean, updated and has such a beautiful view. The host had great communication. We booked the place specifically for the hot tub and it did not disappoint, such a relaxing way to end the day after lots of hiking. 10/10 recommend!!"

"I’ve stayed here many times, the experience is always excellent. The staff is very professional and accommodating. Especially at the breakfast buffet, they are Muy bien! The property is in a very safe area of San Jose, Escazu. There’s two pools and a fully equipped exercise room. I highly recommend this place. "

Good hotel near airport

"This hotel has all the basic amenities any traveler would need for quick visit to San Jose. They have free shuttle service to and from San Jose International Airport which is very convenient. There's a 24hr Denny's restaurant next door which was such a welcome surprise since we arrived past midnight and were hungry. Nice breakfast offering in the hotel. Clean and spacious rooms."

Wyndham San Jose Herradura Hotel & Convention Center

"I loved staying at this hotel. The grounds and plantings are gorgeous, the pools feel totally luxurious and all the public spaces feel spacious, clean and elegant. They offer free airport transfers and one can pick up and drop off a rental car right at the hotel, how convenient is that.!!! My room was just fine. I had requested a refrigerator and got one. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious, and I thought great for the price. My granddaughters loved the pools. I plan on staying here again when i have to leave Costa Rica by air. The only complaint is the restaurant ran out of red wine, and 2 of the dishes i wanted to order. The cleaning staff for my room were exceptionally gracious, friendly and kind. I also had a dental problem while i was there and was able to walk to the “Dental Smile Center”, which did a great job helping me. It is also walking distance to a fresh market grocery store, and it was easy to get to downtown San Jose via uber. Yes the hotel is older, but that’s why the plantings are so nice. They even have a garden with a mango tree. The gym is one of the best equipped i have run into in a hotel. So 5 stars"
