"Claire and Bud (the owners) couldnt have done more for us. They were staying further up the road and I was able to use their pool which was a treat. The cabin has everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and although it was rainy season it was still wonderful - we could sit on the decking and watch the forest / sea and listen to the rain. The sea view is amazing and we saw some monkeys and other wildlife in the trees around us. Just one thing to consider, if you are coming in rainy...

"The host was very friendly and accommodating and offered many recommendations for the area. The villa was perfect with a huge patio and a full kitchen that let us cook our own breakfast. The best thing that we didn’t know we needed were the two folding chairs that we took all over to be able to relax on the beach. The extra towels provided were very helpful as well. "Sitting out on the balcony overlooking the valley, listening to and looking at the incredible variety of birds… Beautiful place very friendly and helpful. Renters good proximity to the different things we wanted to do. Wonderful place. Earplugs made any noise from dogs or roosters or the street disappear without a problem. Very kind neighbors. Would definitely recommend.!!"

"Outstanding property with wonderful hiking trails near by. Cute quiet town. The road down to the cabin is steep and unpaved but we managed in a 2wd vehicle. Wifi/Service was out but there is so much to do it didnt bother us one bit. 10/10 would stay again."

"This property is an oasis. There was fruit growing everywhere. The differences of plants and trees is like nothing we saw while in Costa Rica. Very memorable and our host was very helpful throughout the whole time we were there. FYI when they say you need 4x4 there are not joking around. We had a rental that had 4x4 and the road still made my stomach drop. Worth it if you can get to it."

"The property consists of approximately 10 individually designed villas. So, I can only comment on our villa. Almost new, could do with wardrobes or at least more shelving. Access road is 6km along a very uneven dirt track, steep in parts. Managed with a smallish 4x2 SUV, but you would def be better off with a 4x4. Beautiful views, birds and the sunsets were gorgeous."
