Enjoyed walking up 74 stone steps to 3rd floor - I'm a hill walker and yes, there is a lift. Rooms need some updating."

"We spent one night here as a stopping point. The location is brilliant! The receptionist was brilliant and very friendly. The room was large and and spacious. Unfortunately, we got the room right next to the front door, so being a light sleeper I heard all the comings and goings. We were given a breakfast voucher for the little cafe across the square, which was brilliant! Be quick though as it does get busy. Overall I would recommend it."

"Lovely location and the room had a huge bed. But the pool was closed and the spa only opened at 3pm on Tuesday - we were there Monday to Wednesday, so that was very limiting. The bar had a lovely view, but was very expensive. "
