"The service was excellent from the front desk. We were greeted each time we walked in and out of the building and even received texts to ensure our stay was going well throughout our stay. The property was beautiful and in a great location. Our room was clean, comfortable, and chic. The gym was functional, clean, and had great equipment to get a good workout in. There was a cute grocery store right across the street and a park behind the building to take our dog out. Many great restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and stores right outside the property. The only downside was that the pool was down during our stay and the front side of the property was boarded up in anticipation of election protests (as were most buildings downtown during our time in Portland). We will definitely be back to visit and already decided we’ll stay here again when we return! "

"I liked all the trees around the property, even though the highway was near, the trees blocked out a lot of the noise and looking at the trees in their fall beauty was much better than looking at buildings and parking lots. "

"We had a great time staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and spacious. The only two things that were not as good were there was no snack food in the front “vending” area. We arrived at 3 am after our 8 hour flight from Fort Lauderdale and nothing was open but we were starving and the vending area had no food. The parking was also really difficult with the parking lot being totally packed every night. "

"The Courtyard by Marriott Portland was great! The check in and valet service was top notch. My car was safe and always accessible. Our room was gigantic! 2 queen room, all the amenities we needed. Microwave was downstairs in the hotel snack shop. All boxes checked, my daughter and I will definitely be back when we visit Portland. "
