"The property manager was horrible, she was very aggressive when communicating. She tried to take my deposit for a broken lock that I have never touched. Very poor communication, I felt like I was in prison, because I wasn’t allowed to take visitors on her property. The housekeepers were more friendly and nice. "Excellent location to relax! We spent our days reading our books and lounging at the villa or at the beach. Villa was clean, well kept, and very charming. Miss Cassie is an amazing cook and has a beautiful personality. The whole family loved all her meals which were excellent and first class and we also enjoyed our grocery shopping trip! :) Host communications were great with no issues whatsoever. Would return in a heartbeat. "

"We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We woke up every morning to parrots in the tree. It is close to a ton of fun activities. We loved the beach club and they treated me like a queen for my birthday. The property is very clean and the grounds are beautiful."

Everyone looked after us well!The only thing that we would have liked differently is cleanliness of the kitchen, the pots and pans etc. not used to seeing the old worn out utensils being used to cook so found that a bit put off. "We stayed in a stunning home in the chukka cove community. The water was crystal clear with coral and fish right in our cove. We stayed in March and there were no bugs in the villa. It was perfect for my family including my 14 year old son and his grandparents. Having the pool as an option was wonderful for windy days. The food was wonderful in the villa. Karine took care of us the entire time. We look forward to retuning!"

Carlene was a terrific hostess; the meals she prepared were delicious and she checked in with us daily about what specialties she could prepare and asking what items we liked. "beautiful view, grounds well keep pool very clean. twenty-four-hour security, staff very helpful, easy access to main road. Condo has all basic cooking utensils, nice beach towels, washer dryer in good working condition, AC units all working properly and cooling as designed. The owner is availed by phone and lives close for any problems. "

"The hotel was beautifully maintained. We appreciated the entertainment in the evenings but the production shows were very amateurish. The bands were very enjoyable and the beach party was our favorite night. The food and drinks were good and the Kulinarium French restaurant was very good with excellent ambiance but the Steak House and the Italian restaurant did not have a good environment. The beach is beautiful and the water sports were fun. All around, I would recommend the Hotel RIU Ocho Rios "

"This property was beautiful well taken care of and my room was gorgeous. It was my birthday celebration and they even put a little banner on my door as a surprise. I was greeted with a drink and told "happy birthday" everywhere I went. There was always something to do with the 6 restaurants night live band AI room, live dancers, beach pool, gym u name it. The location was prime as well as its right between Mo Bay and Ocho Rios. I definitely would come back with my children as it is also family friendly. Uroy I miss your friendlyness each time I came into the lobby!!... the Only downer was that there were no hotubs outside by the pool area as the pool was a little cold. Other than that i miss this beautiful property and highly recommend. "
